Rovin' Roland traveled to Alabama yesterday, visiting with our friends at Andy's Creekside Nursery, Collier's Nursery and Leaf & Petal. According to Roland's iPad photos below, shoppers in the Birmingham area certainly have a plethora fall decorating opportunities with pumpkins, planters, ornamental peppers, garden mums and colorful annuals!
They're everywhere, they're everywhere! And our 2014 garden mum crop is looking mighty fine, as well as all the new varieties we're trialing. The test mum in bloom is 'Daybreak Appleblossom White', which will turn pink around the edges as it matures.
Sunbelt Greenhouses is literally growing! We're making headway with our outdoor field expansion project, which will provide two additional acres for finished fall production. That means we'll have space to grow more of our gorgeous mums!
