Rovin' Roland traveled to Alabama yesterday, visiting with our friends at Andy's Creekside Nursery, Collier's Nursery and Leaf & Petal. According to Roland's iPad photos below, shoppers in the Birmingham area certainly have a plethora fall decorating opportunities with pumpkins, planters, ornamental peppers, garden mums and colorful annuals!
They're everywhere, they're everywhere! And our 2014 garden mum crop is looking mighty fine, as well as all the new varieties we're trialing. The test mum in bloom is 'Daybreak Appleblossom White', which will turn pink around the edges as it matures.
While Beverly and Bonnie held down the Sunbelt sales fort this summer, Roland visited parts of Europe and his native Holland. (A few photos from his trip are in a slideshow at the end of this post.)

Sunbelt is almost ready to begin shipping Fall product to all markets! The carts above – containing mums, Mighty 'Mato™ grafted tomatoes, dianthus, and fall herbs – were just transported to an IGC in Atlanta.
